Main function: TI's America´s Programme
Starting Date: August 20th 2007
Duration: three months; full time, Monday to Friday
Location: Berlin, Germany
Responsibilities
As a member of a young, dedicated international team your areas of responsibility will be multifarious. The main tasks will be working in the Central American Programme and assisting the team in the preparation of several regional meetings. Others are:
- Communications: Press monitoring; Draft texts for TI´s publications
- Research: draft of information notes on current affairs
- General assistance to the Americas Team
- Respond to information requests and requests from National Chapters
- Assist the team with daily administrative and financial tasks such as filing, database updating and expediting reimbursement
Requirements
- Native Spanish and proficient in English, basic knowledge of Portuguese
- Profound knowledge of the region
- Knowledge of Transparency International and its global network
- Studies in International Relations, political or social science, communications desired
- Good organisation and communications skills
- Experience organising events or bigger meetings
- Experience in the NGO sector
- Capacity to work as a part of a team, as well as independently
- Experience with the Internet; computer software skills including Excel and Access.
