We immediately offer an open PhD position in the
framework of a newly established collaborative
research group “Signalling mechanisms in the healthy
and diseased heart” (FOR 604) funded by the Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft.
In this project we address the role of anion-exchange
and sodium-proton exchange mechanisms for
cardiomyocyte homeostasis and its role for the
pathogenesis of cardiac hypertrophy. For this purpose
a combination of mouse transgenic technologies and
cellular approaches will be used.
Ideally we expect very good practical and theoretical
knowledge in the filed of molecular biology, biology,
physiology and related disciplines. If you want to
join our young and motivated team, please apply with
CV, copies of certificates, list of methods, letters
of reference and (if applicable) list of publication.
