Holaaa, ¡¡¡cuánto tiempo!!! :PP

He estado un poco apartado últimamente, en parte por las vacaciones,
formateos diversos del ordenador, cambios de disco duro... en fin... He
perdido muchas cosas, entre ellas los escaneos de los cromos de mi
página web que ya casi tenía todos (a volver a empezar..., si los tenía
que haber subido cuando los tenía, pero estaba esperando a un voluntario
que me iba a hacer el diseño de la página - nunca más supe de él :PPP).

Por lo menos conseguí recuperar las portadas de los comics de forum,
así que iré actualizando la página poco a poco.

Como veis vengo con ganas (y que me haya llegado la semana pasada God
Ginrai y los llaveros de Bumblebee y Cliffjumper ayuda ;) ).

Como veo que el último tema es Armada, pues os pongo un texto que
encontré en una página (creo que transfandom) ayer, al final está el
texto original, para los que no se fien de mi traducción/adaptación (no
lo voy a traducir literalmente ;) ) al inglés.:

(Al final obtuvimos respuesta de una fuente en Hasbro. Hay spoilers a lo
largo del texto que sigue:
>Hey, sólo unas preguntillas sobre Armada, basadas en la especulación
que hay en la red. Sé que todavía están en una etapa inicial, pero
esperaba que nos pudiese dar unas pocas respuestas.

Aún estoy sorprendido de como los fans saben tanto tan pronto. Si la
competencia fuesen ni la mitad de persistentes que vosotros, estaríamos
en un buen lío.

> Está la nueva línea realmente 'Armada'

Por lo que sé, sí. Pero esto podría cambiar si el mercado tuviese
problemas, como ocurrió con Beast Machines, pero por ahora todo indica
que las cosas irán por ese camino.

> ¿Quién se encargará de las nuevas series?

Mainframe, quienes nos dieron un gran éxito con Beast Wars y Beast
Machines, se encargan de las series en estos momentos. Pienso que ya
están empezando, pero no soy la persona indicada para preguntarme.

> ¿Cuál es el origen de Armada?

¿La historia? La verdad es que no puedo decirlo. No es mi departamento.
Sé que hemos estado mezclando un montón de caras viejas y nuevas en la
línea. Realmente, la línea de juguetes es sólo una gran excusa para dar
a los fans lo que quieren. Por fans, me refiero tanto a aquellos que se
engancharon con Beast Wars, como a los que recuerdan el nombre de la
novia de Optimus Prime.

> ¿Está Armada relacionada con Transtech?

Sí. Algunos conceptos para Transtech han sido reciclados para la línea
de juguetes que se avecina.

> ¿Qué juguetes nos esperan?

La línea de juguetes va a ser muy modesta, un poco más grande de lo que
está planeado para Robots In Disguise. Pero creo que nuestra elección de
personajes hará que se les caiga la baba a unos cuantos. Las nuevas
figuras de Prime y Galvatron son muy impresionantes.

> ¿Cuando lo veremos?

Todavía no está fijado. La serie no está programada hasta pasado el
verano del 2002, y nos gustaría que la serie y la línea de juguetes
saliesen a la vez. Dependerá de lo que creamos que pueda aguantar Robots
in Disguse.

> ¿Algo más de Robots in Disguise?

Mi trabajo en esa línea casi ha acabado. Estamos buscando cosas de
nuestra línea de Generación 2 para la posibilidad de hacer
relanzamientos para ayudar a la línea, y hacerlo hasta que llegue
Armada. Todo lo que os puedo decir ahora es una lista de lo que estamos
buscando.

Sabréis más cosas sobre Navidad. ¡Probablemente antes que yo!

> ¿Cuál es su papel en producción?

De verdad que quiero contestar a eso, y contar a todo el mundo lo grande
que es estar trabajando en estos juguetes y esta línea de producción.
Pero por desgracia, no es probablemente una buena idea. Sólo quiero
deciros que he hablado sobre ello una vez en Bot Con, y espero volver a
hacerlo.

No estoy seguro de lo útil que te puede resultar para ti o tus amigos de
All-Spark todo esto, pero dales todo mi apoyo y diles que les tenemos en
mente para cuando trabajemos en la línea!

(Finally got a reply from a 'source' at Hasbro. Spoilers are

I'm still amazed at how the fans know so much so early. If
our competitors were nearly as persistant as you guys, we would
be in big trouble!

> Is the new line really 'Armada'?

As far as I know, it is. This could change if marketing has
troubles, as it did with Beast Machines, but everything seems
to be going that direction now.

> Who is making the new series?

Mainframe, who has given us big success with Beast Wars and
Beast Machines, is getting tapped for the new series right now.
I think they're already getting started on it, but I'm not the
right guy to ask.

> Where did Armada come from?

The story? I can't really say. That's not my department. I
know we're mixing a lot of old and new faces in the line. The
toy line is really just a big excuse to give the fans what they
want. By fans, I mean those who just got involved with Beast
Wars as well as those who remember the name of Optimus Prime's
girlfriend.

> Is Armada related to Transtech?

Yes. Some of the concepts for Transtech have been reworked for
the upcoming toyline.

> What toys are we likely to see?

The toyline is slated right now to be pretty modest, a little
bigger than what's planned for Robots in Disguise. But I
think our choices of characters are going to have a few people
drooling. The new Prime and Galvatron figures are very
impressive.

> When are we going to see them?

That's not quite set yet. The show isn't scheduled for late
summer of 2002, and we would like to have the show and toyline
come out at about the same time. It's going to have to depend
on if we think that Robots in Disguise can carry over that long.

> Any more on Robots in Disguise?

My part of that line is just about over. We're looking over a
lot of our 'Generation Two' line for possibility of rereleases
to help round out the line, and carry it over until Armada
comes out. All I can give you right now is a list of what we're
looking at.

You'll know more by Christmas. Probably before I do!

> What's your role in production?

I really want to answer that, and tell everyone how great it
is to be working on these toys and this product line.
Unfortunately, that's probably not a good idea. I'll just say
that I talked about it at BotCon once, and look forward to
doing so again.

the All-Spark. But give them all my best, and tell them that we
