Asunto: European SEPG Proposal deadline: 21 November 2005
Proposal Submission Deadline extended to 21st November 2005
Following a number of requests, we have extended the deadline for speaker proposal submissions, to Monday 21st November. However, those who are able to meet the original deadline of 14th November, are encouraged to do so.We are inviting proposals for presentations, tutorials, workshops and panel sessions. All submissions related to systems and software quality and process improvement will be considered, but priority will be given to those that demonstrate how a method, process, technology, culture or organisational structure has been used to achieve tangible/measurable benefits. Submissions should aim to cover techniques, approaches, problems (with solutions) for implementation; encourage audience participation and, if possible, include a demonstration of supporting tools.
Now in its eleventh year, the European SEPG™ conference is firmly established as the premier process improvement event in Europe. Leaders, innovators and practitioners from Europe and around the world gather to explore methods, tools and techniques for process improvements that aim to increase business performance through quality and productivity gains.
To build on current success, we are extending the scope and quality of the programme for the European SEPG 2006. For full details and submission guidelines, please visit www.espi.org/sepg.
Getting started symposium
Each year we face the challenge to satisfy delegates from organisations having increasingly diverse capability. Some have been pursuing process improvement programme for many years; for these delegates we are seeking presentations and workshops of a more advanced nature. Some have yet to realise the benefit and seek knowledge on how to implement process improvement initiatives in their organisation.
For those delegates, the European SEPG 2006 will aim to bring together a sequence of presentations and workshops in one track on days 1 and 2 that will provide an insight into the issues and possible techniques involved. The symposium will end with a ‘round table clinic’ where small groups of delegates meet with the presenters to expand or clarify any issues raised during the symposium.
Measurement and estimating symposium
The European SEPG will once again feature the highly popular 2-day Measurement Symposium, extended to cover estimating. It will address all aspects of measurement activity related to process and product improvement, and estimation techniques.
