Reminder and some more information on this summers home education gathering
in Sweden.

This year as well we have had a big and varied interest, not just from
Sweden, but also several countries in Europe and the world. So we are
already looking forward to an inspiring and exciting gathering. We hope that
the week will be an opportunity to meet and create networks and to be
inspired by and find support in each other.

- Dates - 13 July - 20 July

- The "Conference days" starts on Friday the 13 with a gathering at 19.00,
continues on Saturday and then ends on Sunday the 15 in the afternoon. The
conference will as usually be held in an Open Space form, which means we
determine the subjects together according to interest and need. Consider if
there is anything in particular you would like to see covered or know more
about.

- The "Family week" starts Monday the 16 of July and ends on Friday the 20.

- It is possible to arrive earlier if you want to help with the
preparations.

- Place - on a small farm in the countryside 25 km from Katrineholm and 170
km west of Stockholm. A lot of space, both outdoors and under roof, with an
old barn turned into "conference centre" and common activity area. Close to
a lake for swimming.

- Fees - 200 SKr (25 Euro) per adult for the whole week and half price for
the weekend. Children for free. If anyone thinks it is to cheap voluntary
gifts will be accepted.

- Payment - on arrival, that way unnecessary bank fees can be avoided.

- Driving directions - will be sent out upon request.

- Simple conditions - it has been important for us to create an event that
we all can appreciate and that everyone can afford to attend. That is why
the basic idea is camping and self-catering.

- There is a lot of space for camping - tent, caravan, campervan, "under the
sky".

- Compost toilettes and simple washing facilities on site

- Showers at a close by sport centre.

- Cooking and washing up facilities in an outdoor kitchen.

- Language is usually, due to mixed nationalities, international. We know
since previous years that whatever or how many languages you speak, both
adults and children will have a very rewarding time. It's fantastic to see
all the children playing and communicating across the language barriers.

- Activities during the week will be whatever we ourselves make of it. This
far, participants has offered to do archery (you who have can please bring
your own) theatre, nature walks, forest hut building, horse and carriage
tour, football and "Swedish baseball". Other suggestions and initiatives are
very welcome! We hope some music talents will show up so we can have music
and folkdance in the barn also this year.
