To Med More:

I do not desire to keep affiliated to the Med More plan anymore because I suffered an horrendous incident with one of your dentists, his name is Franlix Arenal and he works on Sweet Water Medical Center.

On the afternoon of 6-23-2003 around 7:00 PM this dentist perform a negligent procedure on me while trying to pull a tooth out without letting me now beforehand that it required of a surgeon because the tooth was stick to the bone. Knowing about this but without any regards he proceed to stick the tooth out breaking it in pieces. The procedure lasted closed to two hours. I may include that the place was unclean and that this dentist had to be helped by his wife, whose I don’t know if is certified or not to be performing health procedures.

When the dentist finished he told me that he couldn’t pull the tooth out and referred me to Jackson Memorial Hospital. I was bleeding and after the effect of the anesthesia was gone, I fell into agonizing pain.

Rapidly I went to Jackson Memorial Hospital, but in the Emergency dept. the clerk informed me that they only could give me pain medication and that I had to fix an appointment for next Wednesday at their dentist clinic.

The end results were that I had to:

- Spend money on several medications for pain, inflammation, infection, and bleeding.

- Suffer from pain and bleeding as well as infection for over a week that I missed work.

- And go to another clinic where I had to pay 200 dollars for the rest of the pieces to be taking out

- Subsequently more medications had to be bought for the recovery process.

Today I received a Med More bill of 155 dollars that tells me I owe your company this money for over two months of membership. This is also another issue I have with the company. I informed Ms Maria Martinez of costumer service dept. of my complaint. Her answer was that it had been notified to the company and that I was being removed from the plan.

Now I find that I have not been removed from the plan. I have this question, shouldn’t I put a sue against your company for negligence and bad service?
