What I can say about « filmed letter » is that it is a short film of maximum 3 minutes that should be compared with a « letter written thanks to a filmed language »Š You are relatively free to choose the form and the contentŠ
You can find as attached file a text about the general concept of filmed letter. It could perhaps help you to understand what is meant with the idea of « video postcard ».
Le Volcan has already produced a DVD box including the first seventy-five filmed letters and postcards realised with children and adults.
We sent a DVD box to each organisation. Could you please ask Esther if she could lend you the box so that you can « see » the resultŠ

it seems that you didn´t understand me about the concept: yes, we speek with esther ant yes, we know that the theme is the otherness. and yes, we are in touch with Kathi.

it's not that what is unclear. the question is technical actually: i´t's not about the otherness, it's about what do we mean when we're talking about a filmmed letter. what I'm saying is that filmmed letter can be interpreted in many ways. so do we have the freedom to aply the format "filmmed letter" anyway that we want? the question in general is: do we have absolute freedom with the form in which we have to interprete the content (the otherness)?

that's all that I´m asking. the rest -  yes, I know it, don´t worry:))

No, but we need the original tickets - what is really important is that we have two tickets : A/R. The dates are not taken into account

You have to take into account that you have to be in Paris on Sunday, the 8th of April at around 12.00 because we have organised the visit of the cinema museum

You should arrive on the afternoon. A welcome "meeting" is planned at 6.00 pm, but if you have no choice and no flight that could fit this timetable, let me know this.

Do you really speak with Esther ????? YES THERE IS A CONCEPT... The films are all around "otherness"... You have to get in touch with your pair... Kathi, from the Austrian group, told me they have already given you the topic they have chosen... PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM AND SPEAK ABOUT THE CONCEPT WITH ESTHER !!!!!!

Time is going and it is really necessary to clear some points concerning the meeting of April.

Thus, I will raise several questions in the following list, so that you could give me all the needed answers without forgetting anything.

           1. The dates : arrival in Le Havre on the 29th of March on the afternoon - departure        on the 8th of April : You have to book a ticket for the train that leaves Le Havre at around 7.50 because we have planed the visit of the cinema museum of Paris at midday.

           2. As soon as you know precisely when you will arrive in le Havre on the 29th, please let us know so that we could organise the transport.

           3. As reminder : You know that each participant pays 30 % of his/her transport cost. For the reimbursement of the rest, we need to collect the original tickets. The prices must not be over :  

TRAIN A/R Paris / Saint-Lazarre - Le Havre :
53,4O euros (over 25 years old), 40,20 euros (under 25)

FLIGHT A/R
Rotterdam / Paris  A/R Thalys : 108,00 euros

           4. All participants must be under 25 years (exceptions : 1 person from Belgium, 1 person from Bulgaria, 1 from France - Azed -, 1 from the Netherlands - Han -, 1 from Turkey, 1 from Austria). It is absolutely impossible to change this.

           5. We will gather tomorrow (on Thursday, the 2nd of March) some filmmakers who may work with you during the meetings, and we would like to speak with them about your films and the work you have already done. Could you please let us know how far you are with your films. Which topic did you choose ? Are you working hand and hand with your pair ? It is really important for us to be better informed about this.

just one "description" (from the Italian group). Thus, we will use the
