otra vez)

Hi Jordi,
In my previous message I wrote there are 10 000
wolves in Turkey. Some of the zoologist says 15 000
bu t some says 5 000 . There arent any reports or
investigations about wolves, neither the big mammals.
The main prey of the wolves are boars, wild goats,
mouflon ,rabbits, deer, domestik sheep, small bears,
dogs and cows. They also find food ýn the garbage
areas. Most of the wolves killed by farmers because
sometimes 15-30 wolves attack to the sheep and kill
100 of them. Sometimes they come down to the small
villages and attack to the dogs and eat them. To
photograph them is so difficult. Because they are so
afraid of human. They are only seen at night. I found
three packs of Wolves near Georgian border of turkey.
One of the packs had 11 wolves. For two months in
winter I stayed in the forest in winter. In Sarýkamýþ
willage there are big pine forests. There are lots of
brown bear, lynx, lutra, fox, squirrel in the forest
but the weather was too cold. Ýn Sarýkamýþ the snow
stays for 6 months. It was -20, -30 degrees while I
stayed there.Only onew morning they came so close 15
metres. When they saw me they ran away. I took their
pohotos with 70-200 L series Canon lens and 2x
extender. No tripod. It was so dark. The article
published in June 2003 As "The Eleventh Wolf" ýn the
ATLAS Magazine in Turkey.
