Launch of the initiative “Life in
Positive”
The FSVCV has launched an innovative initiative, called
“Life in positive”, in collaboration with some important social
organizations, such as: the Spanish NGO “Ayuda en Acción”, Terence Higgins
and Network Photographers.
The objective was to show up, via photographs, the
experiences of volunteers who are currently helping to others that have fallen
in drugs. During this exhibition, attendees could participate in parallel
workshops to discuss about drugs and the current social situation of the drug
addicts.

Two new members in the
Valencian Volunteer Centres Network promoted by the FSVCV (cities of Orihuela
and Alzira)
The opening of these new local volunteer centres will
increase to 15 the number of members of the Valencian Volunteer
Centres Network. This will give to the Valencian voluntary organizations the
opportunity to bridge the gap between the FSVCV headquarters and other local organizations
in those towns.
No
doubt that the FSVCV’s Network has become a key element to reinforce the local
civil society organised in the Valencian Community. Its main objective is to
act as centres for communication, voluntary work and meetings between the
volunteer organisations and the general public at regional level.
The FSVCV wants to
accomplish its mission to give support, assessment and technical assistance to
non-profit organisations, active in the social sector and established in the
Valencian Community.
Therefore, the FSVCV
considers essential the increase of the number of members of a Network, located
in different towns of the Valencian Community, through which volunteer centres
and people interested in voluntary work can avail themselves of information
services, meeting rooms, activities, etc.
The new local volunteer centres of the city of Orihuela
(located in the south of the Valencian Community) and the city of Alzira will
offer the FSVCV programmes to around 600,000 inhabitants.
The FSVCV programmes include:
1) Training, 2) Grants, 3) The Information Society Programme for NGOs, 4)
Website, 5) The services of the “European Office”, located in Brussels, 6)
The NGO Certification Programme and 7) Publications.

III Edition of
the FSVCV’s call to strength volunteerism in the Valencian Community
The Foundation for Solidarity
and Voluntary Work of the Valencian Community (FSVCV) has launched the Third
Annual Call to finance activities undertaken by
Valencian NGOs during 2004.
In 2004, the FSVCV will devote
EUR 154,747 to provide financial
assistance to those projects which are focused on training, raise awareness and
promotion of volunteering in the Valencian Community.
Since
2001, the FSVCV has granted financial assistance to 122 projects,
undertaken by the local voluntary organizations.

The
FSVCV launch a new Newsletter addressed to NGOs of the Valencian Community
According to one
of the principles of the FSVCV, which consist of informing the general public of
the realities of voluntary work by means of interactive support, a first number
of a new informative leaflet, called “FundAcción”, has been launched in
March.
This newsletter
will reinforce the transparency of the FSVCV’s activities and the promotion of
the values of volunteerism and solidarity amongst the general public in the
Valencian Community.
This new
publication increases the number of actions in communication and information of
the FSVCV: The Volunteer Centres Guide, Financial Resources Guide, Good
Practices in Volunteer Management in the Valencian Associations, “Cuadernos de
Solidaridad”, the “Quaderns del Volontariat” Magazine, etc.

Lancement de
l’initiative “La vie avec positivisme”
La
FSVCV a collaboré à l'initiative
« La vie avec positivisme » avec
l'ONG espagnole « Ayuda en
acción », Terence Higgins et le Réseau de Photographes.
L'objectif était de montrer,
via des photographies, les expériences de volontaires assistant les personnes
tombées dans le cauchemar de la drogue. Lors de cette exposition, les
participants ont pu participer aux ateliers parallèles pour discuter des sujets
de la drogue ou de la situation sociale courante des toxicomanes.

Deux
nouveaux membres dans le Réseau des Centres Volontaires Régionaux de la
Communauté de Valence promu par la FSVCV (les villes de Orihuela et Alzira)
L’inauguration
de
ces nouveaux centres de volontaires amène à 15 le nombre de membres du réseau
volontaire de centres de Valence, géré par la FSVCV. Ceci donnera aux ONG
valenciennes, l'occasion d'établir le lien entre le siège principal de FSVCV
et d'autres organismes locaux.
L’actuel réseau régional de
la FSVCV est devenu, sans nul doute, un élément principal pour renforcer la
société civile locale organisée à la Communauté de Valence. Le principal
objectif du Réseau est d'agir, tels des centres pour la communication, de
permettre un travail de volontariat et des réunions entre les organismes
volontaires et la société au niveau régional.
Le FSVCV veut accomplir sa
mission pour donner l'appui, l'évaluation et l'assistance technique aux
organisations non lucratives, actives dans le secteur social et établi dans la
Communauté de Valence.
Par conséquent, le FSVCV considère
essentiel l'augmentation du nombre de membres d'un réseau, situés maintenant
dans différentes villes dans la Communauté de Valence, par laquelle les entités
volontaires et particulières intéressées par le travail volontaire peuvent bénéficier
des services d'information, des lieux de réunion, des activités, etc.
Les nouveaux centres
volontaires, situés en Orihuela et Alzira, offriront le Programme de la FSVCV
à 600.000 habitants. Ce qui permettra de favoriser et de renforcer l'action
volontaire dans la ville.
Le programme de la FSVCV comprend:
1) Formation, 2) Financement, 3) Le Programme du Société de la Information
adressé aux ONG, 4) Website, 5) Les services du Bureau européen, 6) Le
Programme de Certification pour ONG et 7) Publications.

IIIéme
édition de l'appel de la FSVCV pour renforcer le volontariat dans
la Communauté
de Valence
La
Fondation de la Solidarité et du Volontariat de la Communauté de Valence
(FSVCV) a lancé le troisième appel annuel à proposition afin financer les
activités des ONG de Valence pendant 2004.
En 2004, le FSVCV, avec EUR
154.747, prévoira de financer les projets concentrés sur la formation, la
sensibilisation et la promotion du volontariat dans la Communauté de Valence.
Depuis 2001, le FSVCV a financé 122 projets entrepris par les centres
volontaires.

La FSVCV lance un nouveau bulletin adressé aux
ONGs de la Communauté de Valence
Selon
un des principes du FSVCV; informer le grand public des réalités du travail
volontaire au moyen d'appui interactif, en mars, s’est lancé un certain
nombre de nouveaux feuillets informatifs, appelés « FundAcción ».
Ce
bulletin renforcera, dans la Communauté de Valence, la transparence des activités
de la FSVCV et la promotion des valeurs du volontariat et de la solidarité
parmi le grand public.
