Primera Gira Catalana de Xavier Panadès and the C.A.T.

 

L’artista català resident a Bristol oferirà una sèrie de concerts a Catalunya (llistat a sota), presentant el seu àlbum de debut “Per que no li dius?”

El Xavier serà acompanyat  a l’escenari pel guitarra angles Errol Hewitt, conegut a Anglaterra pel seu estil simple amb estranys tempos, però molt efectiu.

Les seves actuacions són una combinació de dos extrems que treballen en total harmonia. La manera inusual com l’Errol toca la guitarra es calmada i misteriosa com un volcà revertit. Contrasta amb els llampecs caòtics de sentiments i passió Rabelaisiana del Xavier.

 

El Xavier ha col·laborat amb artistes locals com el bluesman “Chris Scott (the Blues Devils), Jim Barr (Portishead), Marting Hannaby(conegut DJ de musica dance), Sean Mcbride (conegut instrumentista de vent de San Francisco), Dave Norman (saxophoniste que va acompanyar en el seu temps a gent del mon de Mile Davis), i el seu productor uns dels cantautors amb més prestigi a Anglaterra.

 

          First Catalan Tour of Xavier Panadès and the C.A.T.

The Catalan artist resident in Bristol will offer a series of concerts in Catalonia (see below), presenting his album of debut "why do not you say it?."
Xavier will be accompanied to the stage by the English guitar player Errol Hewitt, known in England for his simple but, effective style with strange tempos.

          Their performances are a combination of two extremes working in total harmony. Errol is calm, mysterious and quiet, like a reversed volcano, in huge contrast to Xavier with his chaotic bursts of feeling and Rabelaisian passion.

 

        Xavier and Errol have collaborated with local artists like the bluesman "Chris Scott (the Blues Devils), Jim Barr (Portishead), Marting Hannaby(conegut dance DJ of Bristol underground), Sean Mcbride (a fascinating instrumentalist of wind from San Francisco), Dave Norman (saxophoniste that roamed the worlds of Mile Davis), and their producer some of the singer-songwriters with more prestige in England.
