Bueno no sé si habéis seguido muy de cerca el tema de los subsidios
de los 1000$ por jugador, pero la cosa es que se ha armado bastante
revuelo por eso, porque solo 15 países han recibido 4 subvenciones,
entre ellos España.
Ahora mismo Òscar me han enviado este email viendo los problemas
quehan surgido e intentará sugerir a los sponsors cambiar algunas
cosas, aunque como ya sabemos todo esto es un regalo para nosotros y
no nos podemos quejar. La idea es redistribuir un poco las
subvenciones entre países porque seguro que muchos de los países no
usarán sus plazas, y se perderán, porque la diferencia de un jugador
de ir al mundial o no es la subvención.
Benkt ha pedido a todos los países que sepan más o menos
certeramente si probablemente prescindirían de alguna plaza que se
lo comuniquemos.

Hemos estado hablando con Òscar y creo que hemos sido muy
afortunados en recibir 4 subvenciones y habiendo empezado tan
prontos. Páises como Finlandia o la República Checa solo han
obtenido una plaza, cuando llevan bastantes mundiales llevando un
equipo completo al woc y con gran actividad en su país.

Nuestra respuesta a esto ha sido ceder l de las 4 plazas disponibles
sin especificar si es la de la mujer o la del equipo regular, con lo
que ahora solo existen 3. No sé si llenaremos las 3 plazas o no,
pero creo que después de todo esto es lo mínimo que podíamos hacer
por los otros países viendo su situación, y sabiendo que eso que les
está pasando a ellos nos podría haber pasado a nosotros con gran
probabilidad. Así que espero que entendáis la decisión y la aprobéis.

De momento nada es oficial, solamente se va a intentar hacer una
pequeña redistribución entre las plazas de los países y
comunicarselo al sponsor japonés a ver que les parece.

SUBSIDY


Dear all,

I got contact with MegaHouse and this is the fact:

* MegaHouse sponsor with 78 subsidy a´1000 US$ each. Sum 78.000 US$.
It's a fantastic sum and I dont think we will be angry for the
MegaHouse that they so generous will sponsor player from the world.

* MegaHouse is resbonsible of the subsidy as sponsor and can give it
to who they want. Pure fact. I dont think we have right to complain
for a gift. This is not an must for them, this is a gift to all.

* MegaHouse tried to do divede the subsidy so fair they could. It's
not easy. I tried to do it now, and is not easy to doing it 100%
fair. It will always be someone who think it is unfair and not right.

I will send them an suggestion of another way to give subsidy to all
nations, but it means that nation who had full 3+1 will probaply
loose some and it will be given to nation who have one. In fact ..
mostly all european nation who have 3+1 will go down to 2+1. Why?
Because it is 78 subsidy to give out. It will not be more then 78.
So I will try to do an fair divede. So you must realize that if
youre nation know have 3+1, the chance is that they not have it
later. I will check on things as travelcost, strenght, federation,
activity, licensee, attandend last 3 years, and other things. BUT ..
I cant promise that MegaHouse will change. WE can only give a
suggestion.

It is importent that all nations QUICKLY telling me if they really
need 3+1 or if they only need 1, 2, 1 +1, 2 +1 or 3. If some nation
dont want to use they whole quota it can later be given to other
nation. For an example .. if you know that youre nation not want to
send any female, that subsidy for your nation can be given to other
nation.
It's also importent to know if youre nation dont agree about to
loose subsidy and it be giving to another nation.

I will do my best to see if we can get any solution.

And one importent point: Graham, Emmanual and me have not beeing
included in this more then I have send them facts about what nations
have federations, activity and stuff like that. MegaHouse is the
Company who giving the sponsorgift, and we as an interime committee
who should work with suggestion for a WOF, have no rights to decide
for MegaHouse who they should use their money. We can give
suggestions, and we will do it directly now, but it is still
MegaHouse who decide about the sponsor money.

Another question was: How do they calculate subsidy?:
* Licensee
* Activity/Federation/Tournaments etc
* Citizen Memberships
* Living in the nation you play for

We can have a lot of complaining, it's easy, but I think its better
to discuss how we can solve problem. And doing it together.
