Hola, buenos dias othellistas...

a ver sobre el tema de nuestra fecha del EGP hay que tomar una
decisión, os pego seguido a este mensaje la votación que hay en marcha.

Como se ha integrada al EGOP Alemán sin votación previa (lo que no se
ha hacho nunca, recordad que tanto nosotros como los checos pasamos
por una votación para poder ser EGP).

Creo que la votación actual, propuesta por Marc Tastet, es clara, la
primera opción excluye a los alemanes... no es necesario decir que
aunque estoy enfadado por el proceso de entrada del EGP alemán y a
causa de ello nos fastidian nuestra fecha de EGP, no es la opción que
debemos escoger. La idea es aceptar el máximo de torneos, pero hay que
decidir una estructura y unas normas claras (que aun no esta, de
momento, decidido).

Pues nada, espero vuestras propuestas, comentarios, etc...


Provisional calendar as far as I know:

1. 12/13- 1-2008 EGP Italy (was 13/14- 1-2007)
2. 16/17- 2-2008 EGP UK (was 17/18- 2-2007)
3. 8/9 - 3-2008 EGP Germany (new)
4. 5/6 - 4-2008 EGP Netherlands (was 24/25- 3-2007)
5. ??/??-??-2008 EGP Denmark (was 21/22- 4-2007)
6. 24/25- 5-2008 EGP Sweden (was 2/ 3- 6-2007)
5. ??/??- ??-2008 EGP Spain (was 16/17-12-2006)
8. 7/8 - 6-2008 EGP Poland (was 30- 6-2007)
9. 26/27- 7-2008 EGP Belgium (was 28/29- 7-2007)
10. 30/31- 8-2008 EGP France (was 1/ 2- 9-2007)
11. 27/28-9-2008 EGP Czech (was 29/30- 9-2007)

I propose to vote on the following proposals:

Proposal 1: The 2008 EGP will include 10 tournaments
(in the 10 nations who already hosted an EGP tournament in 2007).
The 2008 EGP winner will be determined
by taking the 5 best scores among the 10 tournaments.

Proposal 2: The 2008 EGP will include 11 tournaments
(in the 10 nations who already hosted an EGP tournament in 2007
and in Germany). The 2008 EGP winner will be determined
by taking the 5 or 6 best scores among the 11 tournaments.

Your vote should be one of the three :
- Proposal 1
- Proposal 2 with 5/11
- Proposal 2 with 6/11.

The votes for proposal 2 will be counted together of course
(for example if the votes are
4 for Proposal 1
3 for Proposal 2 with 5/11
3 for Proposal 2 with 6/11
Proposal 2 will be adopted and we'll have to decide between 5 and 6).

Let's say we must vote before Thursday January 10th, 23:59 GMT
so that we can announce the result before Milan.
But of course, the earlier you can vote, the better.
