A ver, he estado mirando las fechas de los EGP desde que entró Barcelona, y la
verdad es
que no hay acomodo fácil, pero es evidente que hay torneos con más tradición que
el
nuestro que sería elegante respetar (y también que nos respetaran a nosotros :-)
Cuando
entró Barcelona, lo hizo a primeros de marzo, y muy amablemente los ingleses
adelantaron un par de semanas su torneo, que era tradicionalmente a finales de
febrero.
Al año siguiente pudimos hacerlo también ahí, y no recuerdo por qué razón
tuvimos que
llevarlo a diciembre. Y el año pasado nuestro sitio original lo ocuparon los
alemanes, y
muy amablemente también, los holandeses retrasaron su torneo (otro de los
clásicos) para
hacerles sitio, y nosotros tuvimos que ponerlo en julio, sin mucho éxito, la
verdad. Bien, a
mí también me parece la mejor opción acomodarlo en marzo, como ponen markus y
jorge, con lo que recuperamos nuestra fecha.
Una segunda opción: puesto que los ingleses este año vuelven a finales de
febrero, y los
italianos hacen el suyo siempre justo después de Reyes, ¿Qué tal primeros de
febrero? (por
ejemplo el 7-8). Tenemos casi 3 semanas a ambos lados con Italia y Gran Bretaña,
y puede
ser una fecha de futuro sin conflictos, y quizá buena para que los nórdicos
dejen de pasar
tanto frío unos días y se animen a venir a bcn.
