The Belgian Othello Association presents the organization of the 19th Belgian
European Grand Prix. This tournament will be held in the city of Gent on August
1st and 2nd and is the 9th leg in 2009 EGP series.

Concept
11 round Swiss (7 on Saturday, 4 on Sunday) - with finals for best 4 players.
Reflection time is 2x25 minutes

Entree fee
20€ for elite/advanced players
10€ for unemployed, students and players who are not elite nor advanced
Family reduction fee (as of 3 members) is available

Prizes
Prizes are foreseen for the top players in each category: Elite, Advance,
Beginner, Promising player, Women.
Special prize is foreseen for the player with the best result in comparison to
his/her world ranking.

Lunch
Lunch and drinks will be available in the tournament location and snack bars are
nearby.

Restaurant
We will have dinner on Saturday in "'t Braske", only 100m away from the
tournament.

Accomodations
Several hotels are available in the city of Gent, within walking distance of the
tournament
The BOA offers accomodation, please let Tom Schotte know if you are interested.
