Los gigatrón italianos:

Now you wouldn't think it would be possible to parody Manowar,
bearing in mind they are the funniest heavy metal band ever. But here
come a bunch of effeminate Italians to show me how wrong I was. For
this is hilarious stuff.

But it's only funny because the gentlemen concerned – Gatto Panceri
666, Abdul, Uinona Raider and Potowotominimak – have a genuine
talent and affection for the music they are parodying. You have to
know your `true' heavy metal from your `fake' heavy metal to hit the
spot so accurately.

And it's because they are talented musicians that they can carry off
the delights of "Tricycles of Steel", "Metal-la-la-la-la", "Power of
the Power of the Power of the Power of the Power of the Power (of the
Great Sword)" and "Triumphant March Of The Nano-Warrior". Actually,
take away the lyrics and the music would easily sit on a `normal'
metal album. But the lyrics are something else! Altogether now;

"I'm under the shower, in the Metal Tower
I wash my hands from the poser's blood
I clean up my armpits, perfume my true hair
Then I polish my long flesh sword
And I say:

Metal ! - LA LA LA LA LA"

They also have a crack at some classic metal covers, with a Manowar
medley "Gioca True (Other Bands Play, Nanowar Gay!)" and a retitled
Iron Maiden gem, "The Number of the Bitch". They also cover "Enter
Sandman" by Metallica, but as the lyrics are in Italian I have no
idea whether they disrespect it as much as the others. I sincerely
hope so.

This is a rarity, a comedy album that stands up to repeated plays.
I'm sure the deadly serious Manowar fans are heading towards Italy,
torches in hand, ready to burn down Nanowar Castle, but the rest of
us should part with a few Euros and have a good laugh
