* In group 1, River Plate can already qualify tonight for the next
round if they manage to win in Asuncion against Libertad. But a draw
will probably please the Argentinians as well regarding the final
day's feature.
* In group 4, The 2 home teams managed to win with high scores
yesterday to qualify for the 1/8 finals.
* In group 6, Universitario 'only' drew against Oriente Petrolero
which brings them close to elimination. Today the group's big game
will be played between Racing Club and Nacional.
* In group 8, The Mexicans of Cruz Azul (almost sure) qualified
themselves thanks to a huge 4-0 win against fenix. Later today, The
Strongest will have to beat Brazilians Corinthians with 5 goal
difference to still take Cruz Azul's place...
